Announcing an exciting collaborative print drop between underground hip hop record label Rhymesayers Entertainment and New York City born and raised non-stop creative force Michael Alan Alien. Due to popular demand, they are releasing the official exclusive limited edition print of Alien’s album cover artwork of “So Many Other Realities Exist Simultaneously” by Atmosphere.
Sean Daley aka “Slug”, rapper of Atmosphere and co-founder of Rhymesayers, says “I was still trying to learn how to use negative space when I was introduced to @michaelalanalien’s art and how he uses the positive space. Inspired by his art and his sincerity, I am humbled.” Slug approached Michael Alan Alien to create one of his signature multi-layered, hyper-detailed original paintings for Atmosphere’s new album cover. Alien went above and beyond, creating a technicolored masterpiece with his unique visual language with roots in underground NYC culture. The world of fine art collides with the world of hip hop.
The artwork, entitled “Multiverse Theory” was created specifically with the intention for the viewer to study it for endless hours while listening to Atmosphere’s album “So Many Other Realities Exist Simultaneously”. As they hear the lyrics and feel the beats while observing the art, they will experience a portal into a micro/macro visual universe, resulting in an invigorating sensory roller coaster experience.
